Description
This model is a high-relief sculpture set within a Gothic pointed arch or niche. It depicts the Virgin of Sorrows in a stylized "chibi" or young character aesthetic, featuring large expressive eyes with visible tears that convey a sense of serenity and mourning. She is portrayed with her hands clasped in prayer, wearing a traditional mantle and tunic adorned with delicate floral embroidery along the edges. The arch is topped with an ornamental cross, and the base includes the embossed inscription "VIRGIN OF SORROWS". The geometry is clean, with smooth volumes designed to highlight details in both filament and resin prints.

3D Printing Parameters
Layer height: 0.1 – 0.2 mm for FDM; 0.03 – 0.05 mm for Resin.
Infill: 15 – 20%
Supports: TECHNICAL ANALYSIS: Since this is a relief with a flat back, it is largely self-supporting if printed flat on the build plate. If printed vertically to achieve better surface finish on the facial features, minimal tree-type supports are recommended specifically for the chin area and the underside of the top cross ornament to prevent drooping.
Suggested material: PURPOSE ANALYSIS: For maximum fidelity in the tears and the fine floral embroidery, Standard or Grey Resin is highly recommended. For larger decorative versions, PLA in a marble or stone finish would provide an elegant, classical aesthetic.
