Description
This pack is a collection of 10 heroic characters blending fantasy armor, sci-fi parts, and mechanical details—built with a kitbash approach (mixing and matching components) to create bold silhouettes and rich surface detail.
3D Print Settings (recommended starting points)
These are safe, beginner-friendly defaults. Adjust depending on your printer and how small you print the characters.
For FDM printers (PLA/PLA+ recommended)
- Layer height: 0.12–0.20 mm (0.12 for sharp armor detail)
- Nozzle: 0.4 mm (0.2 mm if you want extra fine detail)
- Infill: 10–18% (increase to 20–30% for larger figures)
- Supports: Yes (organic/tree supports recommended for horns, capes, weapons)
- Support overhang angle: 50–55°
- Brim: 4–8 mm (helps stability for tall characters)
- Print orientation tip: keep feet/base flat; rotate to reduce support scars on the face/chest
For Resin/SLA printers (best for tiny details)
- Layer height: 0.03–0.05 mm
- Supports: medium supports for main body + light supports for fine parts (horn tips, fingers, cape edges)
- Hollowing (optional): hollow thick parts at 1.5–2.5 mm wall + add drain holes
- Post-processing: rinse, fully cure, then lightly sand support marks
Helpful print-prep tips
- If a model includes thin spikes/horns, scale up 5–15% for stronger results.
- For miniatures, consider splitting into parts (head/torso/base) for easier supports and cleaner details.
- After printing: prime first to make the high-poly details pop.
