Lyuben Karavelov (1834–1879) was a Bulgarian writer, journalist, and revolutionary figure of the Bulgarian National Revival. He was an important ideologist of the national liberation movement and a close associate of Vasil Levski. Through his literary works and political journalism, Karavelov promoted ideas of freedom, democracy, and social justice. He played a key role in organizing revolutionary activities and influencing the development of modern Bulgarian political thought.
