This is a model of a Sculpture of Dionysus. I've scanned it with 3D scanner. The object I've scanned is a replica of the Sculpture of Dionysus in the center of the town of Balchik. The author of the original sculpture is Mr. Heinz Hoyer who is the designer of 1 and 2 German euro coins.
Dionysus was the god of the grape harvest, winemaking and wine, of ritual madness and ecstasy in Greek mythology.
