Resin (recommended):

Best choice to capture fine engraved details and feather texture.

Layer height: 0.03–0.05 mm.

Supports: add light supports under the chin, wing tips (inner overhangs), and talons as needed. Use tree supports to minimize contact points.

Orientation: tilt slightly to reduce large flat support scars on the chest and show face details.

FDM:

Layer height: 0.12–0.16 mm (lower for better detail).

Nozzle: 0.4 mm typical; consider 0.25–0.35 mm for very fine prints.

Supports: under wing overhangs, beak/chin area, and any deep recessed details.

Shells/perimeters: 2–3; slow outer wall speed for cleaner surfaces.
