Great Ottoman Bombard Cannon ("Shahi topu")
The great Ottoman bombard cannon was used in 1453 during the siege of Constantinople, now Istanbul, by the Ottoman Sultan Mehmed II "the Conqueror". It was one of the most advanced cannon for its time.
The model (also the original cannon) consists of two pieces, the barrel and the chamber, which are screwed together. The model has a scale of 1:20, but the prints on the pictures are scaled to 1:50.
My print settings with PLA+:
bed temperature: 60°C
nozzle temperature: 210°C
infill: 20%
printing speed: 50 mm/s
support: yes
bed adhesion: raft
Be careful when removing the support!
